The Higgy Dog Fund

5% of every HDogz service fee on this website is set aside into The Higgy Dog Fund — a pot voted on entirely by our community of supporters.

Supporters are dog lovers, advocates, & people who believe in what HDogz stands for. By becoming a supporter, you get a direct say in where the fund goes — whether that’s backing a rescue organisation, helping a dog owner who can’t afford behavioural or health support, or contributing to canine welfare causes nominated by the community.

Every supporter is credited on our website & across our social media. This is a community full of love respect & love for dogs, a community that wants to give back to humans oldest symbiotic bond.

Long before cities, currencies, governments or corporations, there was a fire. And beside that fire, there was a dog. For thousands of years dogs have guarded our homes, protected our children, searched for our missing, worked beside our farmers, healed our wounded, & walked with humanity without contract, complaint or condition. They have given us loyalty, now we return them dignity. The dog is not beneath humanity. The dog is beside humanity. And in the HDogz ecosystem - the dog shall always come first.

For thousands of years — they guarded our fires. Now — we guard theirs.

Supporter membership costs €60 per year. You can pay by bank transfer. 100% of your €60 goes directly to the Community Fund. No fees, nothing deducted.

As a supporter you receive:

• Your annual vote on where the Community Fund goes — cast via a simple form you will receive via email each year on December 15

• The chance to nominate causes for the fund via email between Dec 02 & Dec 14. You will be emailed on Dec 01 to remind you.

• Named recognition on the HDogz website and social channels

• Updates on fund activity, nominations, voting and the Christmas Day winner(s) announcement via email
